Keeping Contact with Vacational Studies

Updated on:

The friendships and experiences formed during the Course don’t end when the summer is over. Ongoing connections with Vacational Studies are important and there are many ways former students can stay connected with us and each other.

Advances in technology and the rise of social media make it easier than ever to maintain these international friendships. Our Facebook page and Instagram account are regularly updated with news and photos.

One of the other ways we keep the connection alive is through the JWA (Jörg Weise Association). The JWA brings together former students and staff for a reunion each year and also supports the continuation of Vacational Studies by offering scholarship opportunities. For more details, please contact Yannick Mol by emailing info@joerg-weise-association.org.

Audience With

Another way we keep connections strong and inspire current students is through our “Audience With” session. We invite interesting former students to talk about their careers.

English is a vital international communicative tool.  If you are a former student using English in your professional life and would be interested in speaking as part of “Audience With,” please email vacstuds@vacstuds.com.

Visitors During the Course

Every year we receive requests from past students and staff who would like to visit the school during the Course and, of course, it's lovely to see familiar faces.

Visitors are welcome to join us for a brief visit. To comply with UK Safeguarding requirements described in our Safeguarding Policy, overnight stays are not permitted.

If you would like to visit, please let us know.
